Celery, hard vegetables, hard fruits, leafy greens, wheat grass.

Can be used to make celery juice, vegetable juice, citrus juice, fruit juice, leafy greens, nut butters, nut milks, pasta, wheat grass juice, baby foods, frozen desert + more.

For hard and firm produce, Omega’s supplied manual says to use a higher setting, which increases juice yields.

However, a high pressure makes it more difficult for the juicer to eject pulp from softer produce causing your juice to be more pulpy. So that’s where you need to adjust to a lower setting for best results.

We recommend drinking your juice as soon as possible to get the most nutrients. If you do have some leftover to store, make sure to use a container with an airtight lid to prevent oxygen from reaching and degrading juice, and to refrigerate as soon as possible.

Yes, we recommend cutting your fruits and vegetables into smaller, 2 inch pieces to help optimise yield and reduce pulp. See below for recommendations for various produce:

Vegetables

We recommend preparing your vegetables by cutting them into a size such that the pieces will fall through the feeder chute without needing to be pushed down. Chop carrots into half-inch discs and all other root vegetables such as beetroot to a similar size.

Fruits

Ensure you cut pieces into a size that will easily drop down the feeder chute. Remove skins from citrus fruits. If the Omega becomes clogged then this can be remedied by feeding a harder fruit or vegetable through like a cube of carrot.

Leafy Greens

Roll leaves into cigar shaped parcels and then fold them in half, ensuring that the size is not too big for the feeder chute. It is best to use dry leaves as wet produce can be difficult to process, so it's recommended that produce is dried with kitchen town prior to use.

Celery

Cut your celery into small pieces no longer than 2 inches and place them down the chute individually.
